LAB EQUIPMENT

1.  Bicycle wheel w/ drum on one axle
2.  Black plumb bob string
3.  200 g hooked weight
4.  Small hooked ball (approx 450 g)

    Product Description

    DIRECTIONS

    1.  Wind string around hub and attach weight to loop in the string.
    2.  Mark a point on the bike wheel with tape or chalk and allow the weight to slowly rotate the wheel.
    3.  Angular acceleration (α) and angular velocity (ω) can be compared as the weight goes down, as it stops, and as it backs up  in the other direction.
    4.  Can be repeated with different mass.
