1.  Oscilloscope (Tektronix TDS 3014B)
2.  RLC box (clear)
3.  Function generator (Pasco  PI 9587C)
4.  2 multimeters (Fluke 75 III)
5.  3 probe adaptors
6.  2 spade adaptors
7.  2 DB-f to BNC-m adaptors
8.  1 DB-BNC lead
9.  8 B-B leads (stackable)
10.  Floppy disk w/ configuration backup (stored in front pocket of EM manual)
11.  Power strip (or cart w/ power strip)

    DIRECTIONS

    1.  Follow the connection directions on the adjoining page.   Set the function generator to approx. half amplitude and frequency adjust to approx. 70Hz.  The RLC box switch should be at center.
    2.  Turn on scope (lower left).  Put disk in drive.
    3.  Press ‘save/recall’, then ‘save setup’, then ‘set-up 1 EM–L-AC’ (see photo on card)
    4.  Two waves should be seen on the scope.  The tall blue wave is the reference voltage; the short wave is the combined VL & VC.  Turn switch on RLC box to side position watching the shifting short wave.  RL it leads, RC it lags the reference.
    5.  W/ DMM’s on ACvoltage adjust frequency of until readings equalize.  At this point the inductor and capacitor are in resonance.
